In my artistic practice I tend to explore ideas such as language, knowledge, spirituality, religion, and the idea of self. Through my love of color and shape I have created my own visual language to speak through. This language helps me to visually explore ideas about my identity by using my intuitive art making practice to access deeper levels of consciousness and the subconscious. Through a repetitive and highly spiritual process of making, I access an almost meditative state that allows me to convey my truest self to the viewer. In doing so I create a space of vulnerability for not only for myself but also for the viewer to look within and project themselves onto my art.
